Susan Elizabeth Hayes, 71, of Alapaha, died Monday September 23, 2024, at her residence.

She was born December 8, 1952, in Columbus, GA to the late John Blackmar Ellis and the late Marion Elizabeth Williams. She was a homemaker and member of Rebecca King Ministries. She loved her family, her grandchildren and the Lord. She enjoyed taking trips and especially spending time with her family on Hilton Head Island, SC.

She is survived by her daughter: Tyler (Todd) Rueff of Thomasville; son: Hal Hayes III of Savannah; 4 grandchildren: Hank Hayes, Ella Hayes, Harper Rueff and Hattie Rueff; brother: Jack (Carrie) Ellis of Atlanta.

Her family will honor request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Friday October 11, 2024 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Allen and Allen Funeral Home in Thomasville.
