Suzy Ashley, 62, of Nashville, died Sunday, June 22, 2025, at her residence.

She was born October 18, 1962, in Bartow, FL to Simon Barnett and the late Murlene Bamberg Barnett. She was a homemaker, retired secretary with the Polk County, FL Board of Education and a member of Abundant Life Church.

She is survived by her husband: David Ashley of Nashville; 2 daughters: Brittany (Gregory) Hoggatt of Nashville and Rachel (Erik) Tilson of Auburndale, FL; 2 grandchildren: Lauralee and Allan; father: Simon (Debra) Barnett of Winter Haven, FL; brother: Dickey (Tina) Barnett of Winter Haven, FL; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Her family will honor her request for cremation and a service will be held at a later date.
