Obituary

Talmadge Lamar Sutton, 85, of Nashville, died Monday February 26, 2018 at the Langdale Hospice House.

He was born September 3, 1932 in Berrien County to the late Jerry Mira Sutton and the late Elsie Mamie Baldree Sutton. He was a retired commercial service representative with Florida Power and Light. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force,  member of the Nashville First Baptist Church, where he served as deacon emeritus and Sunday School Teacher. He was preceded in death by a son: Danny Sutton; 4 brothers: Aubrey, Jerry, Ray and Frank Sutton; 4 sisters: Susie Eason, Lucille Bennett, Evelyn Bennett and Mary Beth Halliwell.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Lou Ackerman Sutton of Nashville; daughter: Janie (Bruce) Ferraiuolo of Nashville; 2 sons: Kenneth (Janie) Sutton of Buford and David Sutton of Nashville; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday March 1, 2018 at 2 PM in the Nashville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Stewart, Rev. Stanley Luke and Rev. Taylor Scarbrough officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM.
