Tanner Gaskins McMillan, 32, of Nashville, died Monday, September 28, 2026, at his residence.

He was born November 21, 1993, in Tift County to the late Maurice Keith McMillan and Debra Lyn Gaskins McMillan. He had been employed with City of Nashville water department. He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, watching Georgia Bulldog football, helping anyone he could and loved his family. He was a graduate of Berrien High School class of 2012, attended Kennesaw State University and graduated from Georgia Military College. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Max and Faye Gaskins, Maurice and Edna McMillan; aunt; Phyllis McMillan; uncle: Mark McMillan; cousin: Ryan Osman.

He is survived by his mother: Debbie Gaskins McMillan of Nashville; sister: Lollie (Hunter) Garrett of Nashville; brother: Tyler (Emily) McMillan of Nashville; niece: Ellie McMillan; 4 aunts: Sandy (Bill) Bowen of Enigma, Carole (Greg) Franks of Johns Creek, Michelle “Tale” Fountain of Nashville and Monica McMillan of Cordele; uncle: Chip Gaskins of Nashville; cousins: Max (Jaden) Fountain, Ashley Greenwald, John (Anna) Bowen, Michael (Jane Anne) Bowen, Gage (Winnie) McMillan; many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 5, 2026, at 6 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Roberson officiating. Visitation will be Monday in the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Jacob’s Well.
