Teddie Carroll Pierce, 81, of Alapaha, died Thursday April 29, 2021 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 30, 1939 in Lanier County to the late Winston Pierce and Eula Mae Flanders Pierce. He was a retired mechanic with Moore Lumber Co. and a member of Alapaha Church of God. He served in the Army Reserve,  truly loved the Lord and his family. He was preceded in death by a sister: Dolores Moore and 2 brothers: Aaron Pierce and Rafford Pierce.

He is survived by his wife: Margaret James Pierce of Alapaha; son: Chris Pierce of Alapaha; brother: Mickey (Carol) Pierce of McDonough; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday May 3, 2021 at 2 PM in the Fletcher Cemetery with the Rev. Don Fender officiating. Visitation will be in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service.
