Obituary

Tereasa Kay Rogers, 72, of Alapaha, died Friday June 27, 2025, at Berrien Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born October 17, 1952, in Cook County to the late James Holloway Hancock and the late Flora Bell Rowan Hendley. She was a retired fork lift operator with Nashville Mills, had also worked at Harvey's deli and was a member of New Covenant Church in Ray City.

She is survived by her sister: Gail Pleasant of Alapaha; 3 brothers: James L. Hancock of Nashville, W.T. Hendley of Adel and Rodney Hendley of Nashville; several nieces and nephews; special friend: Marshall Pounds.

Funeral services will be held Monday June 30, 2025, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. John Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
