Thelma Lee Hamby-Barker, 82, of Nashville, died Sunday May 20, 2012 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.
She was born December 22, 1929 in Cedartown, Georgia to the late George Wesley Moncrief and the late Bessie Mae Frazier. She was a homemaker, seamstress, and member of the Nashville Church of Christ. She was preceded in
death by her husbands: Lawrence Hamby and Bobby Barker, and also a son-in-law: Terry Wright.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Mary Jo Wright of Alapaha, and Linda (Bud) Wofford of Coupeville, WA; son: Ron (Freida) Hamby of Nashville; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday May 23, 2012 at 3 PM in the Polk Memorial Gardens in Cedartown, GA. Visitation is Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM. Memorials are requested to the Nashville Church of Christ.
