Theresa Ann Griggs, 72, of Nashville, died Saturday, September 5, 2026, at her residence.

She was born November 2, 1953, in Anchorage, AK to the late Allen Grant and the late Evelyn Green Grant. She was a retired manager with Wal-Mart and attended Jacob’s Well. She loved her family, traveling, going on cruises and camping. She also enjoyed reading, watching movies, cooking and had a passion for knitting. She was preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Grayer.

She is survived by her husband: Ray Griggs of Nashville; 3 daughters: Aproll (Darrell) Dossman of Sacramento, CA, Claudette (Kenneth) Ross of Ray City and Caroline Griggs of Pittsburgh, CA; 6 sisters: Sheila Grant of Los Angeles, CA, Pamela (David) Fronval of Sacramento, CA, Cynthia (Philip) Scannell of Dixon, CA, Brenda Johnson of Woodland, CA, Patricia (Anthony) Dixon of Roseville, CA, Sandra (John) Eardy Zumpano of Suisun, CA; 3 brothers: Allan (Christine) Grant of Vacaville, CA, Michael (Ann) Grant of Woodland, CA and Darrell Grant of Sacramento, CA; 4 grandchildren: AKailiah Rashid, Jaleel Rashid, Brenden Doll and Dustin Doll; several nieces and nephews.

Her family will honor her request for cremation and no formal services will be held.
