Thomas Edward "Ed" Wade, 62, of West Berrien died Monday April 11, 2011 at his residence.
He was born June 21, 1948 in Cook County to the late James Luma Wade and the late Ruby Geraldine Purvis. He was employed with Nashville Textile and had retired from Chaparral Boats wood shop. He truly loved carpentry work and sharing it with his family and friends. He attended Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Cook County.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Mary Lillian Wade and Martha Lenora Walker and a brother: James Luma Wade, Jr.
He is survived by his wife: Diane Crumpton Wade of West Berrien; 2 sons: Tommy (Angie) Wade of Nashville and Jamie Wade of West Berrien; 4 granddaughters: Shelby Wade, Katie Wade, Maygon Wade, and Taylor Wade; 2 nieces: Rhonda (Ken) Lewis of Adel and Holly (Bill) Ritter of Nashville; 3 great nieces: Courtney Lewis, Hannah Ritter, and Hope Ritter; a great nephew: Dorsey Lewis.
Funeral services will be held Thursday April 14, 2011 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Luke and the Elder Dwight Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Cook County. Visitation is Wednesday after 2 PM with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 PM.
