Tina Marie Ray, 78, of Nashville, died Saturday May 27, 2023 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 15, 1945 in Greensboro, GA to the late Howard Channell and the late Rachel Chastain Channell. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by a daughter: Malinda Karen Ray and a sister: Debra Miles.

She is survived by her husband: Nelson Lamar Ray of Nashville; daughter: Susan (James) Whaley of Lincoln, ME; son: Nelson Lamar (Dawn) Ray, Jr of Nashville; sister: Anita Brown of Dearing; brother: Howard Channell of Augusta; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Her family will honor her request for cremation and a memorial service will be held in Harlem, GA at a later date.
