James Travis "Trabone" Vickery, 53, of Nashville, died Friday February 26, 2021 in the Langdale Hospice House.

He was born August 17, 1967 in Berrien County to the late James Elton Vickery and Judy Miller Fudge. He worked in construction, plumbing and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother and step-father: Judy and Vaughn Fudge of Sale City; brother: Jarrett Vickery of Nashville; close friend: Pam Moore of Nashville; 2 aunts: Nancy (Joe) Harvey III of Nashville, TN and Peggy Royals of Lakeland, FL; niece: Jamie (Tristen) Hart of Quitman; 2 great nephews: Grayson and Landon.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 2, 2021 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. Interment will follow in the Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
