Velma Hughes Williams' Obituary
Velma Hughes Williams, age 92 of Nashville, died Tuesday March 2 in the Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta. She was the widow of Richard Emmett Williams who died in 1979.
Survivors include a daughter, Nan (Jim) Karras of Nashville; son, Don (Pam) Williams of Nashville; 2 sisters, Mary Lowe and Marilee Haile both of Nashville; 5 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday March 5 at 11 am in the Nashville First Baptist Church with interment in the Westview cemetery.
Memorials are requested to the Nashville First Baptist Church or the Langdale Hospice House.
Visitation is Thursday 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
