Verna Mae Warren's Obituary
Verna Mae Warren, 94, of Nashville died Monday June 29, 2015 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born April 1, 1921 in Cook County to the late J. T. Simpson and the late Eula Self. She was a homemaker, a member of Community United Methodist Church and a member of the Allenville & New Lois sewing clubs. She was the widow of Burton Willie Warren who died in 1995.
She is survived by a daughter: Evelyn Guy of Prattville, AL; 2 sons: B. W. (Sandra) Warren, Jr. of Baxley and Earl (Kathy) Warren of Nashville; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; a sister: Mary Lancaster of Valdosta.
Funeral services will be held Thursday July 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Community United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Mitchell and Rev. Mark Swain officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
