Verne Benefield's Obituary
Verne Benefield, 64, of Nashville died Monday January 21, 2013 at his residence.
He was born February 29, 1948 in Lowndes County. He was a self employed tree surgeon with Verne's Tree Service and served in the United States Army.
He is survived by: his wife, Jennette Powell Benefield of Nashville, and a step son, Randall Gaskins.
A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday January 24, 2013 at 2 PM in Empire Cemetery with Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
