Vernon Earl Adams, Jr, 85, of Alapaha died Thursday January 7, 2016 in Coffee Regional Medical Center.
He was born October 19, 1930 in Brooks County to the late Vernon Earl Adams and the late Velva Snellgrove. He was a retired farmer and a member of Lax Holiness Baptist Church and attended Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Elritha Warren Adams of Alapaha; daughter: Brenda (Larry) Parrish of Alapaha; son: Robert (Maxine) Adams of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Miranda Adams, Kasie Parrish (Kyle) Johnson, Gavin Adams, and Shannon Parrish; 1 step granddaughter: Tonya Parrish; 1 great granddaughter: Aubrie Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Sunday January 10, 2016 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Connell and the Rev. Johnny Guy officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Saturday from 6-8 PM.
