Victoria Hankins "Vicky" Smith, 69, of Nashville, died Thursday March 31, 2022 at her residence.

She was born April 21, 1952 in Norfolk, VA to the late Robert Hardwood Barrett Welton, Jr and the late Mildred Estelle Fears Welton. She was a retired math teacher with the Lanier County Board of Education and also taught at Valdosta Middle School. She had a free and advantageous spirit and loved going out to dinner. She was the widow of David Howell Smith who died in 2018.

She is survived by her daughter: Catherine Victoria Hankins of Nashville; 2 sons: Bobby Hankins (Lynn Heckman) of Nashville and Kevin Hankins of Wolf Point, MT; brother: Barry (Sandra) Welton of Evergreen, CO; 2 grandchildren.

Her family will honor her request for cremation and no formal services will be held.
