Ira Vinson Luke, 95, of Nashville, died Tuesday October 2, 2018 in the Fellowship Home of Nashville.

He was born March 28, 1923 in Berrien County to the late William Emmett Luke and the late Vera Hancock Luke. He owned and operated Vinson's Dry Cleaning for over 45 years, was a member and deacon  of Nashville First Baptist and a charter member of Nashville VFW Post 5978. He was an Army veteran of WWII and was the widower of Ruby Nelms Luke. He was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and a brother.

He is survived by his daughter: Vicki (Brett) Vincent of Hahira; son: Vince Luke of Irving, TX; brother: Henry Carroll (Tootie) Luke of Nashville; 2 grandchildren: Cameron Vincent of Valdosta and Carmen (Andy) Counts of Hahira; 3 great grandchildren: Hannah Counts, Caroline Counts and Maddox Vincent.

Funeral services will be held Thursday October 4, 2018 at 11 AM in the Nashville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Stewart and the Rev. Danny Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Nashville First Baptist Church or to Bethany Hospice.
