Viola Jean Hamilton, 74, of Adel, died Friday August 29, 2014 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born December 18, 1939 in Pearson, Georgia to the late Dewey Sapp and the late Bethany Gurganious. She was a homemaker and attended Knight's Memorial Chapel. She was preceded in death by husbands: Robert Earl "Buke" Watson who died in 1972 and William Austin Hamilton who died in 2010. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers: Jasper, James, John, and J.M. Sapp.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Jeannie Ashworth of Quitman and Angie (Eric) Tucker of Adel; 3 sons: James (Christy) Ashworth of Nashville, Rodney Watson of Lakeland, and Robert (Stacey) Watson of Nashville; 4 brothers: Gwen (Diane) Sapp of Ray City, Monroe (Dorothy) Sapp of Lakeland, Kirby (Becky) Sapp of Lakeland, and Isaac (Bonnie) Sapp of Ray City; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday August 31, 2014 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Robby Paulk and Rev. Jimmy Spikes officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 PM until hour of services.
