Virginia Eason Hand's Obituary
Virginia Eason Hand, 95, of Tifton died Saturday November 28, 2015 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born December 11, 1919 in Keysville, GA to the late Henry Lawrence Eason and the late Lillia Poole Eason. She was a homemaker and a member of Tift First United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Harvey Dillard Hand; also preceded in death by two sons: Thomas Hand and Michael Dillard Hand; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by 6 grandchildren: Allyson Snipes of Canton, Lawrence (Brook) Hand of Alapaha, April (James) Ware of Woodstock, Christina Allen of Nashville, Jason Stevens of Fredericksburg, VA and Jennifer Brown of Nashville.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday November 30, 2015 at 11 AM in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
