Wayne Allan Evans, age 58 of Nashville, died Monday August 23 in the South Georgia Medical Center. He was a retired Army veteran with 22 years service.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Lindsey Evans of Nashville; 3 step sons, Ricky Cornelius of Adel, Randy Cornelius of Millbrook, Al and Rodney Cornelius of Nashville; mother, Leona Bower Evans of Louisville, Ohio; 4 brothers, Barry, Mark, Michael and John Evans; 2 sisters, Carol Brown and Michelle White; 8 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Lindsey and Rev. Gary James officiating.

The remains will be forwarded to the Israel Funeral Home in Louisville, Ohio for additional services and burial on Saturday in the Beech Mennonite cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday morning one hour prior to the service.
