Douglas Wayne Faulkner, 80, of Adel, died Sunday February 4, 2024 at Southwell Medical in Adel.

He was born June 4, 1943 in Cook County to the late Sly James Faulkner and the late Ethel Rowan. He was a truck driver and a man of many talents. He enjoyed wood working and fishing. He was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church and served in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife: Brenda Bennett Faulkner of Adel; daughter: Lora Lynn Faulkner of Norman Park; son: Doug (Kelly) Faulkner of Sparks; 2 sisters: Peggy Kent of Adel; Gloria Jean Harrell of Valdosta; 4 grandchildren: Joshua Ryan Robinson, Sean Daniel Robinson, Jessie Faulkner (Hunter) Wilson and Daniel Faulkner; 5 great grandchildren.

His family will honor his request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Thursday February 8, 2024 at 7 PM in Open Door Baptist Church with Rev. Gary James officiating.
