Wayne Giddens' Obituary
Terry Wayne Giddens, 64, of Adel died Saturday April 23, 2016 in Tift Regional Medical Center.
He was born October 7, 1951 in Lowndes to the late Eston Giddens and the late Carolyn Sirmans Giddens. He was retired from the City of Adel as Public Works Superintendent and was a volunteer fireman and the deputy EMA director for Cook County and a member of Living Way Community Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Neil Giddens and Rickey Giddens.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara Langley Giddens of Adel; 2daughters: Terri Giddens of Valdosta and Sheri (John) Ballmann of Eagan, MN; sister: Brenda (Carroll) Exum of Ray City; 3 step sisters: Faye Arrowood , Iris Stubbs and Chris Cribb, all of Ray City; 3 grandchildren: Taylor Dewayne (Tory) Alligood, Caine Surrency and John William Ballman; 1 great grandchild: Camden Alligood; 3 nephews: Brent (Laura) Exum of Adel, Trent (Caroline) Exum of Adel and Robert (Melissa) Giddens of Nashville.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 26, 2016 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Vaughn and the Rev. Eric Gordon officiating. Interment will follow in New Ramah Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 6-8.
