Marvin Wayne Nix, 65, of Nashville died Monday April 25, 2016 in Orlando, FL.
He was born August 10, 1950 in Berrien County to the late Marvin "Coot" Nix and the late Faye Ree Glover Nix. He was a real estate agent with Southern Tradition Realty and retired from Southern Bell. He also served in the Army National Guard and was a member of Nashville Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Nix and a brother, Wilson Nix.
He is survived by his wife: Lisa Hood Nix of Nashville; children: Hope Nix of Nashville, Jessica Smith of Brunswick and Clay Smith of Dickinson, TX; 5 grandchildren: J.D. Gaskins, Gueni Gaskins, Ollie Huddelston, Ben Smith and Jack Smith; sister-in-law: Lix Nix of Nashville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday April 30, 2016 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Murphy and Mr. Richard Dale officiating. Interment will follow in Oakridge Cemetery in Tifton. Visitation is Friday 6 to 8 PM.
