Wayne Vester Taylor, 87, of Nashville, died Tuesday May 9, 2023 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 23, 1935 in Lanier County to the late Joe Brown "J.B." Taylor and the late Fannie Belle Gray Taylor. He was a butcher, retired Pentecostal minister and was preceded in death by his wife: Vivian Wheeler Taylor who died in 2012; three sisters:Thelma Taylor, Laura Taylor and Linda "Bunnie" Taylor; two brothers: Joe Taylor and Troy Taylor.

He is survived by his daughter: Deborah Pacheco of Nashville; 2 sons: Don (Karen) Taylor of Forsyth, Darryl Taylor of St. Augustine, FL; 5 grandchildren: Celeste, Kristi, Darick, Dustin, Raven (Ethan); 3 sisters: Gloria (Bobby) Pharr of Lenox, Sandy (Jimmy) Wood of Adel and Bessie Leavens of Ivey; brother: Dan (Glenda) Taylor of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services and burial will be held at Nashville Memorial Gardens.
