W. B. "Dub" Rowan, age 94 of Nashville, died Tuesday February 9, 2010 at his residence. He was the widower of Clyde Murray Rowan and Carrie Lee Sutton Rowan.

Survivors include 2 sons, Willie B. Rowan of Fayetteville, Tn and Charles Emory Rowan of Enigma; daughter, Betty Holcomb of Macclenny, Fl; 3 brothers, Earnest Rowan of Jacksonville, Fl, Bobby Rowan of Warner Robins and Jackie Rowan of Valdosta; 2 sisters, Elma Taylor of Nashville and Betty Padgett of Columbus; 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James Lamar Rowan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 13 at 2 pm in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with entombment on Monday at 2pm in the Evergreen Gardens Cloister Mausoleum in Jacksonville, Fl.

Visitation is Friday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
