Wendell Lossie Kent, age 78 of Nashville, died Sunday December 26, 2010 in the South Georgia Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Evelyn Parker Kent of Nashville; 2 daughters, Cynthia Mixon of Eatonton and Cathy Kent of St. Marys; 2 sisters, Elva Shaw of Nashville and Shirley McCoy of Rincon; brother, Gene Kent of Adel; 4 grandchildren, Kellie Webb, Scott Carroll Mixon, Robert Keeffe and James Keeffe; great granddaughter, Katie Keeffe.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 28 at 2 pm in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Swain and Rev. Junior Swain officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Visitation is Monday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
