Willard James "Wic" Erickson, 89, of Nashville, died Thursday April 29, 2021 at his residence.

He was born October 30, 1931 in Muskegon, MI to the late Ernest William Erickson and the late Naomi Carpenter Erickson. He was a retired real estate broker, member of the Nashville United Methodist Church and served in the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by a sister: Donna Groombridge and 2 brothers: Franklin Erickson and David Erickson.

He is survived by his wife: Nellie B. Harbin Erickson of Nashville; 4 daughters: Diane (James) Lucas of Culloden, Yvonne Horne of Ozark, AL, Dorothy Vanzuylen of Melbourne, Australia and Christine Morton of Melbourne, Australia; son: Jim Creel of Byron; brother: John (Betty) Erickson of Nashville; 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 1, 2021 at 11 AM in the Nashville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Addington, Rev. Danny Ray and Rev. Russ Elkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be in the church thirty minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Nashville United Methodist Church.
