Wilburn Jefferson " Jeff" Luke, 90, of Nashville, died Thursday September 19, 2019 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

He was born August 18, 1929 in Atkinson County to the late Millard Luke and the late Tressie Rowe Luke. He was a retired life insurance agent with American General after 33 years of service and retired from the Citizen's Bank after 27 years of service as a courier and collector. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of New Fellowship Church. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Josephine Ford and Lois Moreash; brother: Buddy Luke; great grandson: Brice Bailey.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years: Myrtle Annette Spicer Luke of Nashville; 2 daughters: Linda (Reece) Walker of Nashville and Elizabeth (Richard) Smith of Fitzgerald; 3 sons: Rev. Clarence (Sonya) Luke of Nashville, Tommy (Lois) Luke of Nashville and W.D. Luke of Nashville; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday September 22, 2019 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary James and Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Saturday from 6 to 8 PM.
