Willaford Jernigan's Obituary
Willaford Jernigan, 91, of Alapaha died Sunday January 7, 2018 at his residence.
He was born November 22, 1926 in Berrien County to the late Lewis Jernigan and the late Sarah Williams Jernigan. He was a farmer and operated Jernigan's Farm Supply. He was a member of Alapaha Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Doris Wilma Roberts Jernigan of Alapaha; daughter: Darlene (Don) Turner of Alapaha; son: Darrell (Faye) Jernigan of Alapaha; 5 grandchildren: Stephanie Ruff, Darrell Jernigan, Jr., Rebecca Davis, Christie Harper and Kellie Turner; and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 10, 2018 at 11 AM in the Alapaha Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Gibbs and the Rev. Darryl McHan officiating. Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday 6-8 PM. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
