William Thomas "Bill" Pluta, 72, of Ray City died Sunday August 21, 2016 at his residence.
He was born September 2, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph Pluta and the late Mary Crossley Pluta. He was a retired security guard with Regency Towers in Myrtle Beach, SC and attended Ray City First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son: Brian Peter Pluta; 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
He is survived by his wife: Charis Richards Pluta of Ray City; daughter: Terri Lynne (Scott) Wiegand of Williamstown, NJ; 4 sons: Tommy (Angela) Pluta of Pittsgrove, NJ, Jerry (Melissa) Pluta of Pittman, NJ, Mark Pluta of Loris, SC, and Ryan Pluta of Loris, SC; 5 granddaughters: Heather Pluta, Ashley Pluta, April Pluta, Emily Wiegand, and Lauren Wiegand; sister: Cassie Van Steyn of Marmora, NJ.
The family will honor his request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Wednesday August 24, 2016 at 1 PM in First Baptist Church of Ray City with the Rev. Robbie Peay officiating.
