William "Buddy" Bryant Gaskins, 72, of Nashville, died Friday April 29, 2016 at his residence.

He was born September 29, 1943 in Berrien County to the late Edwin Gaskins and the late Christine Howell Gaskins. He was a retired plant manager with U.S. Gypsum Co. in Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Thelma Mae Gaskins who died in 1992. He was also preceded in death by a sister: Alda Oliver; 2 brother: Dudley Gaskins and Elwood Gaskins.

He is survived by his wife: Oleta Sowell Gaskins of Nashville; 2 daughters: Tammy (Mike) Imhoff of Silsbee, TX and Angela (Andy) White of St. Johns, FL; 2 sons: William Bryant (Amy) Gaskins, Jr of Jacksonville, FL and Robert Lee Gaskins of Nashville; brother: Howard (Joy) Gaskins of Nashville; 2 sisters: Wanda Jean (Johnny) Musselwhite of Nashville and Jo Beth (Steve) Webb of Tifton 8 grandchildren: J.R., Robert, Joseph, Layton, Gavin, Shawnee, Will, and Hannah.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 4, 2016 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. William Gaskins, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday 6 to 8 PM.
