William Ronald Walker, 69, of Nashville died Tuesday January 24, 2012 at his residence.
He was born July 7, 1942 in Berrien County to the late Sam Jackson Walker and the late Velora Rowan. He was the retired plant manager with Nashville Textile. He was a member of Springhill Primitive Baptist Church. He was the widower of Martha Wade Walker who died on August 31, 2008 and was also preceded in death by a brother: Jack Walker.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Holly (Bill) Ritter of Nashville and Rhonda (Ken) Lewis of Adel; 4 grandchildren: Courtney Lewis, Dorsey Lewis, Hannah Ritter, and Hope Ritter; sister: Carolyn Giddens of Nashville; brother: Charles Walker of Hazelhurst.
Funeral services will be held Friday January 27, 2012 at 2 PM in the Springhill Primitive Baptist Church with the Elder Dwight Marshall and Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. Interment will follow in the Springhill Cemetery in Cook County. Visitation will be Thursday after 2 PM with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 PM.
