Willie Belle Clanton, 92, of Adel died Saturday December 26, 2015 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born February 26, 1923 to the late James Early Johnson and the late Frankie Wetherington. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Bennie Clark and Daniel Elmon Clanton. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons: Daniel L. Clanton and James T. Clark; a grandson: Rick Boyd; 2 sisters: Marie Ellis and Eloise Bembry; 3 brothers: Earl Johnson, Raymond Johnson and Elwood Johnson.
She is survived by a daughter: Janet Deloris Boyd of Adel; a grandson: David (Leeanne) Feagin of Adel; sister: Franky Daugherty of Barretts; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday December 28, 2015 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
