Willie Edgar Pitts, age 65 of Nashville, Ga died Monday May 11 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Reed Pitts of Fitzgerald; 3 daughters, Marcy Byrd of Nashville, Lana Reed of Ocilla and Tara Dixon of Cordele; 2 sons, Willie Edgar Pitts, Jr of Grovetown and James Reed of Ocilla; brother, Jackie Pitts of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
The family has honored his request for cremation and no formal service will be held.
