Willis Edwin Woody, 77, of Nashville died Thursday April 30, 2026 at his residence.

He was born July 30, 1949 in Berrien County to the late Tate Jessie Woody and the late Velma McMillan Woody. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, a retired inventory supervisor with Nashville Mills and was a member of Hope Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Martha Godwin Woody of Nashville; 3 daughters: Becky (Tony) Stevens of Nashville, Jackie (Ronny) Gaskins of Nashville and Jane Cornelius of Nashville; 2 sons: Bill (Lynn) Cornelius of Adel and Mike (Melissa) Cornelius of St. Augustine,Fl; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Monday May 4, 2026 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Torry Hanchey and Rev. Daniel Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service.
