Zachary Mark Griffin, 25, of Alapaha, died Sunday June 25,2023 in Berrien County.

Born February 26, 1998 in Tifton, Ga. Zach was the son of the late Richard Mark Griffin and Melinda Hawkins Griffin. Zach was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved to hunt, fish and was an expert in turkey hunting/calling (Zach Gobbler Chasing Griffin) and was your own personal body guard when needed. What he loved most was being a father to his sweet baby boy and teaching him new things. He also loved taking him for rides on the tractor.

Zach is survived by his wife Rebecca Steverson Griffin; son: Matthew Morris Griffin; brother: Daniel (Hevin Ray) Griffin; 2 sisters: Danielle Watson and Julia Brogdon; 2 nieces: Tristan Hall, Alyceia (Slade) Fackler; nephew: Ethan Hall; great nephews: Kaysin Tucker and Braylen Fackler; paternal grandparents: Vinson and Inell Griffin; maternal grandparents: Hilton and Jeanette Hawkins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday June 29, 2023 at 11 AM at New Griffin Baptist Church with Rev. Simm Youngblood officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Paron Cemetery. Visitation is at the church one hour prior to services.  The family requests that casual camo attire be worn for the funeral.
